BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ / MENANΔPOY Diademed heroic bust of Menander I to left, seen from behind, wearing aegis over shoulder and brandishing spear. Rev. 'Maharajasa tratarasa Menamdrasa' ('of the Great King Menander the Savior' in Karoshti) Athena Promachos standing left, holding shield on left arm and brandishing thunderbolt with left right; to right, monogram. Bopearachchi 8C. HGC 12, 180. Some scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
